CHARLOTTE SMITH

Hi 👋 I’m Charlotte - though I usually go by Char (it always seems to get shortened in agency life).

 

I’m an Art Director and award-winning creative (MADC Emerging Creative of the Year 2024) who started as a designer and classically, accidentally fell into advertising. I cut my teeth at HERO/McCann Australia where I worked across a broad mix of clients and campaigns, contributing to work recognised at Cannes and beyond. 

 

I’m a hands-on creative, equally comfortable on set as I am behind a Mac, bringing a strong design background and a genuine love for all things visual.

 

My experience includes leading and collaborating on work for Toyota, 7-Eleven, Mazda, Maybelline, Alba, L’Oréal Group, and Bakers Delight, alongside projects for Vodka Cruiser, Sirena, Metro Trains, and Officeworks.

 

More recently, I was selected as a mentee for the London International Awards Creative LIAisons program, and previously recognised as a McCann APAC Rising Star.
