When you’re moving from A to B, the last thing you think about is the escalator (for most people, it’s a case of switching onto automatic pilot).
But when we switch off, is when things can hurt us the most.

We converted ad shells in and around METRO train stations into X-Ray screens to promote proper safety behaviour and prevent serious injury happening to commuters on escalators at the platforms.

Inspired by X-ray artists Nick Veasy, this work was made to have a modern, everyday commuter feel about them. Each artwork equated to the level of injury to a specific escalator and incident, be it a slip, trip or fall.
